River Rafting

Milo got a raft for his birthday this year and we've taken it out a couple times already. On our last trip Milo's mom dropped us off in Reed Point and we floated 20 miles to Columbus. It took 2 hours 40 minutes and we saw lots of wildlife along the way. The kids counted 5 bald eagles, 6 deer, 4 turkeys and 34 pelicans as well as ducks and blue herons. We had a little excitement when we went under a bridge and ended up too close to one of the pillars which pushed the right side of the raft up and ended up drenching Andre and Alex's friend Shania. It was a lot of fun and we look forward to doing a lot more rafting this summer!
